Grants have played an important role in building our library and makerspace into a hands-on, student-centered environment. Each award has opened new opportunities for students to explore STEAM concepts, engage with reading in meaningful ways, and take part in creative projects that support our school community. This page highlights the grants that have expanded our resources and strengthened the experiences available to students through our program.
A fully funded project that supplied art materials and bookmark-making tools for our first Makerspace Monday project and the student-led Bookmark Design Challenge.
Funding awarded for twenty SparkFun Inventor’s Kits for micro:bit and additional wearable tech materials. This grant supports our library’s commitment to hands-on STEAM learning and student-led design projects.
Scholarship that fully funded a STEAM field trip for our Battle of the Brains team. Many students visited Science City for the first time, explored exhibits, and used the experience to inspire their final design proposal.
These grants have helped us create a library program that is active, engaging, and responsive to student needs. Each award represents a partnership that brought new learning opportunities to our school and encouraged students to explore their creativity, curiosity, and leadership in meaningful ways.
